Los Angeles trailed by 16 in the third quarter, but rallies to take the lead. Larry Bird sinks a three-pointer with 12 seconds left to put Boston ahead 106-104. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is fouled with :08 on the clock, making the first free throw but missing the second. Kevin McHale loses the ball out of bounds trying for a rebound. Johnson takes Michael Cooper's inbound pass and drives the lane for the go-ahead basket. Bird misses a three-point attempt at the buzzer. Lakers will go on to win the series in six games.
